At the 1st Annual Congress held from September 26th to 28th, 2023, at Osho Tapoban, under the guidance of Swami Anand Arun, all participants gathered unanimously agreed to adhere to five key disciplinary practices.

Osho is a contemporary enlightened mystic, visionary and a rebel. Born in the small city of Kuchwada in India in 1931, Osho attained enlightenment at the age of twenty-one on 21st March 1953. Osho started his spiritual work in the early Seventies and in no time attracted the attention of seekers from all around the world. Thousands of young people flocked to the exotic ashram in Pune, India to meditate in his presence. Later in 1981, Osho travelled to America, where he established his spiritual commune, Rajneeshpuram. During 1985-1986 Osho also made a world tour and travelled to 21 different countries including the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal, where he stayed for over 40 days.

I express my gratitude to Swami Anand Arun for his invaluable contribution in establishing RSSI, which will serve as a guardian for the entire Osho movement. RSSI has a long way to go.
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Swami Arun for conceptualizing RSSI and transforming it into a reality. This organization will serve as a unifying force for all Osho sannyasins, centers, and communes, while preserving Osho's profound legacy.
RSSI should have been established much earlier, but regardless, I wish it will carry Osho’s profound legacy for thousands of years to come. I am happy that finally we have our guardian.
